An interview by Prof. Leszek Chybowski on WECANet after participating in the 1st Annual Assembly

WILL THE SEA WAVES BECOME THE FUTURE ENERGY SOURCE?

The 1st Annual Assembly of COST Action CA17105 "A Pan-European Network for Marine Renewable Energy with a Focus on Wave Energy" (WECANet) took place at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on 11-12 February 2019.

WECANet is a project funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology Association (COST) and aims to develop offshore renewable energy in the European Union. The WECANet’s attention is focused on the use of sea and ocean waves. We asked one of the representatives from Poland: dr. hab. inż. Leszek Chybowski, a member of the WECANet Action Management Committee (an employee of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Maritime University of Szczecin) for the details concerning the meeting. The full interview can be downloaded here (in Polish).
